Easter 2008

So maybe I am a bit late posting the egghunt pics, but better late than never. This year, we visited Jason and Jennifer's new church the week before Easter. They had an egghunt for the kids with jumpy things and lunch for us all. The church is just starting and is called 4 Points Church. The kids had a great time together hunting for eggs. Although, Shelby was so incredibly fast, I could hardly get a picture of her. Emma understood more of what it meant to hunt for eggs. She even liked it better when she found the candy inside. Jennifer and Jason's kids(Cameron, Emmy, Mia, & Noah) joined in on the egghunt and had fun as well. We also attended our church, West Ridge, for Easter service the next Sunday. Afterwards, I skipped the entire "cook a big dinner for Easter thing" and we went to Longhorns. Later that afternoon we went to Carol's to hunt eggs with Anna and William. I will post those later. Overall, Easter week was filled with friends, goodies & celebration. As we celebrate our Risen Savior, I am reminded what price Jesus paid for us all. I am hopeful that if you are reading this you too understand what Jesus did for us. What an AWESOME God we serve to send His only Son to die on the cross for us only to rise again!
